This love manifested in a monthly event he started and co-organizes called SuperHappyDevHouse, which has received much acclaim from hackers and technologists in the Silicon Valley. The event has been imitated around the world with at least 10 other recurring DevHouse inspired events. SuperHappyDevHouse has also influenced the Hack Day events popularized by Yahoo! as well as the worldwide unconference phenomenon known as BarCamp.
While working on his current startup DevjaVu, a hosted application lifecycle management solution based on Trac, he discovered a pattern that he believes will change the dynamics of the web as much as the web API did. He dubbed this pattern web hooks, which has started to slowly grow initial adoption.
