Robin Hunicke joined EA’s Sims Division in 2005, to work on TheSims 2: Open for Business. After finishing MySims for the Nintendo Wii, she headed to EA Los Angeles. In her “spare time” she is finishing a PhD in Artificial Intelligence & Games at Northwestern University.

Robin is a founding member of the IGDA Education Committee, whose Curriculum Guide has helped schools around the world organize game development courses, majors and degrees. An active speaker at the Game Developer’s Conference, she co-organizes annual events like the Game Design Workshop and the Experimental Gameplay Sessions.

Her first love was M.U.L.E. for the Commodore 64.
